Most people have no symptoms till advanced stage of diabetic retinopathy. Symptoms of retinopathy include:
- Blurred vision
- Floating spots or dark strings (floaters)
- Difficulty in identifying colours
- Fluctuating vision
- Distorted vision (due to macular edema)
- Poor night vision
- Partial or total loss of vision
