What are the First Signs or Symptoms of Diabetic Retinopathy?

Most people have no symptoms till advanced stage of diabetic retinopathy.

Symptoms of retinopathy include:

Blurred vision
Floating spots or dark strings (floaters)
Difficulty in identifying colours
Fluctuating vision
Distorted vision (due to macular edema)
Poor night vision
Partial or total loss of vision
