Understanding Wegovy Pens

Wegovy (Semaglutide) is available in FlexTouch pens with different dose sizes:

• 0.25mg pen: Contains 1.0mg total (4 doses of 0.25mg)
• 0.5mg pen: Contains 2.0mg total (4 doses of 0.5mg)
• 1mg pen: Contains 4.0mg total (4 doses of 1mg)
• 1.7mg pen: Contains 6.8mg total (4 doses of 1.7mg)
• 2.4mg pen: Contains 9.6mg total (4 doses of 2.4mg)

How Click Counting Works

Each Wegovy FlexTouch pen has a click mechanism that allows you to dial in specific doses. The calculator uses the pen's specifications to determine how many clicks equal your desired dose in milligrams.

How to Use the Wegovy Calculator

Step 1: Select Your Pen Size

Choose the pen size you're using. Each pen contains 4 full weekly doses at the labeled strength.

Step 2: Enter Your Desired Dose

Enter the dose (in milligrams) you want to inject. This can be the standard dose for your pen or a custom dose.

Step 3: (Optional) Enter Pen Cost

If you want to calculate cost savings, enter the total cost of your pen. The calculator will show:

• Cost per injection
• Cost per week
• Approximate savings vs 28-day baseline

Step 4: Use Partial Injection Helper (If Needed)

If you need to extract remaining liquid from a pen after all standard doses have been taken:

1. Enter the number of clicks you've dialed
2. The calculator will show the equivalent dose in milligrams
3. Use a U100 insulin syringe to extract the liquid

Step 5: Advanced Mode (Optional)

Toggle Advanced mode to access additional features:

• Dosing Schedule: Select how often you inject (2-14 days)
• Pen Duration: See how long one pen will last
• Wegovy in System: Estimate semaglutide levels in your system

Understanding the Results

• Clicks: The number of clicks to dial in your desired dose

• Pen duration: How long one pen will last based on your schedule
• Wegovy in system: Estimated levels - High (day of injection) and Low (day before next injection)
