What this tool does

The Mounjaro Click Count and Dose Calculator helps you plan use of the Mounjaro (tirzepatide) KwikPen sold by Eli Lilly in the usual four-dose format. You can estimate how many dial clicks match a chosen dose in milligrams, how many injections one pen might supply (with or without counting an optional extra amount after the four labeled doses), and what each injection or week might cost if you enter the price of a pen.

Numbers come from published pen specifications and rounding rules used in the app. They are estimates only. They are not a substitute for your prescription label, package insert, or advice from a qualified clinician.

Pen strengths on the calculator

You can pick the strength shown on your pen: 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 12.5 mg, or 15 mg. Each option matches the KwikPen design where the pen holds four doses at that strength, unless you turn on the optional golden dose setting to add an extra amount into the total drug in the pen (still an estimate).

How to use the calculator

Golden dose (optional): Turn this on only if you want the total medicine in the pen to include an extra amount after the four standard doses. Totals are still estimates.
Desired dose in mg: Enter the amount you intend to inject each time. The tool is not meant for doses under 1 mg.
Cost of the pen (optional): Type what you paid for one pen and pick INR, USD, or GBP to see approximate cost per injection and per week.
Partial injection helper: If you dial a number of clicks to match leftover liquid, enter the clicks to see an approximate milligram amount. Use only with guidance from your clinician.
Advanced: Pick how many days pass between injections if you want an idea of how long one pen might last at your dose.
