Wondering if my other health conditions affect semaglutide use

I have been reading about semaglutide and have a question about how other health conditions fit into the decision.

Many people discuss diabetes and weight loss, but I am unsure how conditions like thyroid disease, kidney disease, or fatty liver change the conversation. Does having one of these conditions mean semaglutide cannot be used, or does it depend on the specific situation?

For people who have researched this or discussed it with their doctor, what factors were considered before starting treatment?

I had a similar question because I have another medical condition besides diabetes. My doctor explained that the full health picture matters rather than looking at only one diagnosis.

That was my experience too. I thought one condition would automatically decide everything, but it was more about the details.
