Which glucometer type should you choose?
I'm trying to understand the different types of blood glucose meters available.
Some meters seem like basic devices that just show a reading, while others connect to apps and keep track of trends. I've also seen meters that can test both glucose and ketones, but I'm not sure who actually needs those.
For someone buying a meter today, how do you decide between a basic meter, a connected smart meter, or a glucose and ketone meter?
Do the extra features make a real difference in daily life, or are they mostly useful for specific situations?
