Twice daily insulin is getting hard to manage

I've been taking insulin twice a day and was recently reading about once-weekly insulin options.

The idea sounds appealing because fewer injections would make daily life easier, but I'm wondering how these newer options compare with the insulin routines people are already using.

Has anyone moved from daily insulin injections to a weekly insulin option? What differences did you notice in terms of convenience, glucose control, side effects or adjusting to the change?

I'm not looking to change anything without speaking to my doctor, just trying to understand how people think about the different options.
