My CGM worked well until I started worrying about phone problems

I am considering using a CGM that connects to a phone app, but I have been thinking about what happens when technology does not cooperate.

I am not sure how to check whether my phone is compatible, and I also wonder what happens if Bluetooth disconnects, the internet is unavailable, or my phone battery dies.

For people who use CGM apps regularly, what problems have you faced with phones or connectivity? Is there a backup plan that helps avoid missing important readings?

Checking phone compatibility before buying the sensor is definitely worth doing. I almost skipped that step and only looked at the CGM features.

Same mistake here. The app is such a big part of the experience that the phone matters almost as much as the sensor.
