Is 150 really that high after eating?
I'm still trying to understand what counts as a genuinely bad glucose reading with Type 1.
I keep seeing people online talk about staying under 140 or 150 as much as possible, and it's making me feel like I'm doing something wrong whenever my CGM goes above that after a meal.
For example, I'll eat, go up to around 150 or 160, and then come back down. I used to think that was pretty decent, but now I'm second guessing everything because some people seem to treat anything above 140 like a disaster.
Do you worry about every reading over 150, or do you pay more attention to how long you stay high and your overall time in range?
