I used a CGM for two weeks and learned more than I expected

I have been wondering whether someone needs to wear a CGM all the time to get value from it.

The idea of continuous use sounds helpful, but it can also be expensive and not everyone may want to wear a sensor permanently. I am curious whether using a CGM occasionally can still teach someone useful things about food, exercise, and glucose patterns.

For people who have tried CGM for a short period instead of wearing one continuously, did it change how you managed your diabetes? Was there anything you learned that you continued doing afterward?

I did a short CGM trial and found it useful because I could see patterns I never noticed with occasional finger checks. It gave me information to discuss with my doctor.
