I tried a CGM for weight loss and learned a lot

I've been seeing more people talk about using CGMs even when they don't have diabetes, especially for understanding food choices and weight loss.

I'm curious whether wearing a CGM actually helps someone without diabetes make better decisions, or if it just creates more focus on numbers that may not be useful.

For people who have tried a CGM for weight management, did seeing glucose patterns change your eating habits, exercise routine or understanding of your body?

Was it worth the cost, or did you feel like you could have achieved the same results without continuous glucose data?

I tried one out of curiosity while working on my weight loss goals. The biggest benefit was noticing patterns I never paid attention to before, especially around certain meals.
