I thought MR Conditional meant any MRI was okay

I recently came across the term "MR Conditional" while reading about diabetes devices and medical scans.

At first, I assumed it meant the device was safe for any MRI, but I learned there may be specific conditions that need to be followed depending on the device and scan setup.

For people who use CGMs, pumps, or other medical devices, how did you understand what MR Conditional actually means? Did your imaging center check the exact device details before your scan?

I'm interested in how people prepare for MRI appointments when they have wearable diabetes technology.

I made the same assumption at first. I thought the label meant there were no restrictions, but then I learned that the conditions are the important part.

Before my scan, the imaging center asked about the exact device I was wearing. Having the model information ready made things much easier.

I think the confusing part is that people hear 'conditional' and focus on the first word but forget that there are specific requirements attached.
