I spent more on a glucose meter but was it worth it?

I've been comparing different glucometers and noticed that some models cost much more than others.

It made me wonder whether a higher price automatically means better accuracy, or if other things like strip quality, testing technique, features and reliability matter more.

For people who have compared budget and premium glucose meters, what differences did you actually notice in daily use?

I'm trying to understand what is worth paying for and what features may just be marketing.
