I keep hearing about semaglutide pills and shots

I've been reading about semaglutide and I'm confused about the tablet and injection versions.

Some people say they are basically the same medicine, while others say the experience can be very different. I'm trying to understand whether someone can switch between the two or if they are considered completely separate treatments.

For people who have researched or used semaglutide, what differences stood out to you? Was it mainly convenience, effectiveness, side effects, cost or availability that influenced your choice?

The thing that confused me initially was assuming that a tablet and injection would work exactly the same because they have the same main ingredient. The way they are taken and how the body receives them can make a difference.
