I forgot my weekly injection and started panicking

I recently started a weekly injection and one thing I worry about is what happens if I forget a dose or accidentally take one at the wrong time.

With daily medicines, missing a dose feels easier to understand, but weekly schedules are new for me and I don't want to make a mistake.

Has anyone dealt with a missed weekly injection or accidentally taken an extra dose? What did you do next, and what did you learn from the experience?

I'm looking for real experiences with handling these situations calmly.

The first thing I learned was not to panic. I missed a weekly dose once and my first reaction was to search everywhere for answers. After that I started using reminders on my phone.

Same. The reminder seems obvious, but when life gets busy it is surprisingly easy to forget something that only happens once a week.
