Finding pump support has been harder than choosing the pump

I've been researching insulin pumps and I realized the device itself is only one part of the decision.

Having official sales support, training, access to consumables, customer service and repairs seems just as important as the features of the pump.

For people using pumps, how did you evaluate the support available before choosing a device? Did you have any issues getting supplies, technical help or training after purchase?

I'm interested in hearing about the practical experience of using pumps long term.

I focused more on support than features when I was comparing pumps. A device can have great technology, but regular access to supplies and help matters a lot.

This is something I didn't think about initially. I was comparing screens and features before realizing the ongoing support is the bigger commitment.

Training was an important part for me. The first few weeks with any new device can be confusing, so having someone who can guide you makes a difference.

Exactly. The learning process is not just about reading a manual. Having proper support builds confidence.

I would check the availability of consumables before deciding. The pump itself is a one-time purchase, but the supplies are something you need regularly.
