Finally started exercising again and my sugar levels are actually improving
For the last couple of years I really stopped taking care of myself. Work got hectic, I was always tired, stopped exercising and slowly got into the habit of eating way more than I needed.
I have Type 2 and for a long time my sugar levels just seemed stuck even though I was taking my medicines regularly.
A few weeks ago I finally started exercising again. Nothing crazy. I've been doing some strength training a few days a week and walking most days. I've also cut down on the huge meals and late night eating.
I'm honestly surprised by how different my readings have been lately. They're not perfect every day, but they're noticeably better than what I was used to seeing. I also feel better overall and have more energy.
I know it's still early and I'm not assuming I've suddenly fixed everything. I just wanted to share because I kept putting off exercise thinking I needed to completely change my life overnight. Turns out just getting consistent again has already made a difference for me.
