Figuring out my Indian meals after starting treatment

I have been trying to understand how my regular Indian food should change while taking diabetes or weight-management medicines.

There is a lot of general advice online about eating healthier, but I am more interested in practical meals that fit everyday life. Things like rice, roti, dal, vegetables, paneer, eggs, fish, and family meals are part of normal routines, so I want to know how people actually adjust.

For those following treatment, what changes did you make to your vegetarian or non-vegetarian diet? Did you focus more on portions, protein, meal timing, or something else?

I did not completely change my food. The biggest difference for me was becoming more careful about portions and making sure I had enough protein with meals.

Same here. I thought I needed a completely different diet, but small changes were easier to maintain.
