Buying an imported CGM looked easy until I thought about support

I have been comparing different CGM options and noticed that some people buy devices from other countries because they are available sooner or have features they want.

The part I am unsure about is what happens afterward. If the sensor stops working, replacements are difficult to find, or there is no local technical support, does the lower price or extra features still make it worthwhile?

For people who have used imported CGMs, what did you consider before buying? Was local availability and support a major factor in your decision?
